Donald Trump on Sunday in his tweet gave indications about a new war for oil in the Middle East after the drone attack on Saudi oil supply. Donald Trump said that we need verification from the Saudi Prince and waiting to hear from them as who they believe was after the attack and also we will ask them under what term we would proceed.

“Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!”

Trump’s tweet was followed by strong response from many Americans especially Bernie Sanders who said in his tweet that,” the constitution of the United States is clear about it, President of the United States can not declare war but it's the Congress decision and the Congress will never allow you to start another war in the Middle East.

“Mr. Trump, the Constitution of the United States is perfectly clear. Only Congress—not the president—can declare war. And Congress will not give you the authority to start another disastrous war in the Middle East just because the brutal Saudi dictatorship told you to.”

Democrat Rep. Ruben Gallego responded to the Donald Trump tweet that “ If you want to start war you ask you Congress not the Saudi Prince. It's not like you start war by the instruction of other countries, you need approval from your Congress, which I am sure they never will allow you.

“You don’t ask Saudi Arabia about how to proceed. You ask Congress. You do not have the authority to attack any other country on behalf of Saudi Arabia without getting permission first from Congress. (FYI the answer will be no)”

The reports says that the facility was targeted by Houthi rebels with a drone but US secretary of the states Mike Pompeo however claimed that the attack was done by Iran. However Donald Trump is waiting for the response from Saudi prince. Let the prince decide who to blame for  the attack on Saudi oil supply and inform Mr. President Trump accordingly and he will do the rest of the calculation for another war in the Middle East.
